Beer Wars is committed to protecting the privacy and security of any personally identifiable information ("PII") you provide. PII includes information that can be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, phone number, or email address.

This policy was last adjusted on 12 September 2007.

We reserve the right to modify or amend this policy at any time and for any reason. Any material changes to this privacy policy will be posted prior to their implementation.

Our Privacy Principles:

• We protect your anonymity. Except as described in this privacy policy, we will not share your PII with third parties, unless required by law or when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served.
  

• However, note that all non-PII defined as unrestricted in the user’s Facebook privacy settings may be collected on Beer Wars, and is considered public.
  

Information We Collect:
Beer Wars may collect, use and store any non-identifying or aggregate information which is not restricted by the Facebook user, and is not tied to PII. We reserve the right to collect data sets not used in the current version of Beer Wars to permit extensibility of the application, and scope for greater richness in later releases.

How We Use Your Information:
The collection of non-PII information serves primarily as a means of giving functionality to the Beer Wars application. However, if (and only if) permitted by the terms set out in both the Facebook Developer Terms of Service, and the Facebook Privacy Policy, we may also reserve the right to display, provide, edit, modify, sell, resell, lease, redistribute, license, sublicense or transfer such information.
